Welcome back to Charlevoix and welcome to Just Shake It Off!
I’m so glad you reached out.
There are a couple of support groups that I’m aware of. One is in Petoskey, but is not meeting at this time due to COVID. The other is in Boyne City and I’m not sure if they are meeting in person or not. I’ve not attended either one of the groups.
I’ve just begun the info-gathering stage to see what is involved in the process of starting a local group…and if there is a need in Charlevoix.

Just found your blog and am interested in your PD journey with drs and neurologists in our area. My husband has PD for about 15 years. He just had his 70th bday. We live in Charlevoix and wonder about support groups in the area. Grew up here but moved to AK 36 years ago and moved back 2 years ago.

Well , a lot happened in your life while being cooped up during Covid 19. Most of it is good… disability approved, three kids on Dean’s list, two awards, etc. I sure hope Mabel gets to go to her concert as that’s a big deal for a 16 year old.
